During our weekly calls, we explored different concepts and ideas. We had fun and looked at what could really work as a business. But the true spark happened during Christmas, when we all met in our hometown.

Tea has always been part of our Turkish roots, and "inner work" has been a topic in our friendship since day one. In that moment, everything clicked. We decided to combine them.

The Zen Scan was born: A way to use the time your tea brews to look inside and breathe.

From Christmas until August, we poured our hearts into building YOUME. We created every part of the brand ourselves: the recipes, the branding, the meditations and the packaging. At the same time, we learned how to build a real business and meet the high standards to become Bio-certified.

This process was often playful and intuitive, but also challenged us. We learned so much and grew together through every step.

In June, the vision finally met the world. While we officially launched the YOUME shop and shared our first rituals with you, another miracle was happening behind the scenes.

In a moment of perfect synchronicity, as our first delivery of goods arrived at the warehouse, Damla and Ferhat’s baby also made its entrance into the world. It was a beautiful reminder that while we can plan every detail, life has its own magical timing and mysterious turns.

Today, we continue to grow, learn, and evolve alongside you. The ritual is now in your hands, ready to be lived and shared.
